Business
Arising: Bulk Garbage
Owner advised Council that the bulk garbage at 178 Main Street did not belong to the residents and that it had been dropped off late one night.
Members were in agreement that our worker would pick it up and deliver it to the transfer station.
New Pickup
Spray in pan liner is done and we are waiting for the steps and hitch to be installed. Members were in agreement to keep the Sander in the old pickup for the remainder of the winter.
Property Auction
Further research is required regarding cost to include in the minimum bid before it can be set. Property is to be measured as well. Results will be brought back to the next meeting to set the minimum bid amount.

The 4th Quarter 2016 Reports were circulated and reviewed by Members.
Water Tax Exemption Request

Chlorine Reading Report
Chlorine Readings for January were presented and reviewed.
Hydrant @ PCH
Members were in agreement to write the owner asking him to inform his snow clearing contractor to refrain from burying the fire hydrant while snow clearing the parking lot.

This meeting was called to determine Council’s position regarding the rabbit snaring issue.
Discussion.
Councillor K. Blackwood arrived at the meeting @ 10:45 a.m.

Resolve:
1. There will be no responding on facebook including Carmanville Connect on this matter. Further to ignore any personal comments that may be made.
2. The only spokesperson for council will be the Mayor.
3. To direct inquiries to Forestry/Wildlife who were going to initiate the action. Council has no involvement other than informing residents to keep their pets in.
